Plugs and cables in different versions
So that you can maintain your plant perfectly, we offer you high-quality and robust cables and plugs. You can get the accessories and spare parts from us in different designs. The high-quality and robust products make your photovoltaic system safe again. But why exactly, should your system be up to date and should be maintained regularly with spare parts? Because it becomes more and more important to work with renewable energies and to use them. Photovoltaics is the direct conversion of (sun) light into electricity. "Photo" is derived from the Greek word for "light". The second component refers to volts, which is a unit of voltage. Photovoltaics is a technology that allows homeowners to generate climate-friendly green electricity themselves and use it directly. Photovoltaics have long been considered the most expensive form of renewable energy generation. However, this view is now completely outdated due to the drastic reduction in the cost of system components. Nevertheless, it is important to maintain and service your system regularly with accessories and spare parts.
Why do I need different accessories and spare parts?
There are different methods to use solar energy. Either you choose a photovoltaic system or a solar system. Accordingly, you will need different accessories and spare parts for maintenance. To understand which parts you need to use, let's first clarify where exactly the difference lies. First of all, they are both technologies that use the sun's energy to generate power - in different ways. A photovoltaic system converts solar energy into electricity that can then be used in the home. It is different from solar thermal systems: Solar collectors capture the sun's rays. This heats the liquid in the thin tube, creating steam. In this way, the solar heat reaches a storage tank in the house, where it can be used. This describes the main difference: photovoltaic generates electricity, solar thermal generates heat. Which of the two systems you choose depends on several factors, after all, each square meter of roof or facade area can be used only once. The advantage with a photovoltaic system, is clearly its versatility: electricity can be used for all household appliances, including electric vehicles. It can also supply electricity to a heat pump heating system. In contrast, the thermal solar system can only do one thing: it generates heat. Especially in winter there are no advantages here. For this reason, however, it is just important to use the appropriate accessories and spare parts.
Is there a basic rule for the size of a PV system?
To make the most of sunlight, a photovoltaic system size between 4 and 10kWp or higher is recommended for single-family homes. Take advantage of the entire surface of your roof to be able to obtain the best energy. This way, your electricity needs will definitely be covered until autumn. To make the most of the energy you should also think about other energy helpers in the house. For example, a heat pump in the house can be very helpful.
