Due to its special material structure, hard and solid acrylonitrile butadiene styrene is insensitive to electronic charging and largely resistant to grease, oil and temperature fluctuations. These excellent properties make this material ideal for the housings of CEE couplings. In addition, high-quality couplings are equipped with brass contacts. These contacts ensure secure fixation of plugs and extensions. In addition to securely fixing plugs, brass contacts are resistant to corrosion and deformation. Of course, these also differ in the number of phases. Choose the right coupling with 3 or 5 poles to always have the right surface-mounted socket at hand. In terms of protection class, we also offer different variants. On the one hand we offer the protection class IP44 and on the other hand we offer couplings with the protection class IP67. In order to be able to determine the degree of protection, CEE couplings are subjected to various tests and then assigned the corresponding code numbers. The degree of protection consists of two numbers, which finally result in the degree of protection. The preceding IP (International Protection) comes from English and means "protection against intruders". The degree of protection we offer is based on the ingress of foreign bodies and protection against water. Couplings with IP44 protection are protected against the ingress of foreign bodies from 1 mm in diameter and splashing water, whereas couplings with IP67 protection are dust-tight and protected against temporary submersion in water depths of 1 meter up to 30 minutes.
